Viadex, the global IT infrastructure and deployment specialist, and Performanta, the global independent managed cyber security specialist, today announced a Joint Venture designed to bring best practice protection and reassurance to organisations exposed to cyber security threats.

The increasing sophistication of the cybercriminal fraternity is enabling hackers to rapidly exploit new vulnerabilities. It is also sending shock waves through the enterprise world as organisations start to realise how limited their visibility is of the weaknesses in their IT estates.

“Without specialist insight, skills and capabilities, ensuring the security of your estate can be a hugely complex exercise,” says Dino Cooper, CEO and Co-Founder of Viadex. “For our clients, we are a trusted partner with the experienceand dedicated resource to deliver security services and threat management across multiple threat vectors. We’re delighted to add another string to our bow and further reassurance to customers through our Joint Venture with Performanta.”

International sales account for over 50% of total revenues for Viadex. In 2017, the company completed over 1,000 global projects and to June 2018 it is on track to exceed this, completing over 600. Exposure to an average of 50 global projects every week gives Viadex an intimate view of security threats across a wide and varied spectrum. These threats are often aggravated by resource limitations within customer organisations.

"We share a very big global footprint between our two companies," says Guy Golan, CEO and co-Founder at Performanta. "In actively seeking Joint Ventures to expand our own customer base and accelerate our vision of providing managed security services into the environments of vulnerable organisations, the Joint Venture with Viadex comes at the right time to consolidate and maximise our joint offerings. Given its wide spread of global customers, we are delighted to be working with Viadex."

The solution jointly delivered is known as Viadex Security, Powered by Performanta and includes Performanta's full offering of consulting, technology and professional services, managed security and 24/7 CSOC as a service.

Dan Hayden-Hammond, Viadex Managing Director, says: "This Joint Venture adds significant cyber security expertise to complement our infrastructure portfolio, bringing further depth to our expanding range of specialist services, designed specifically with geo-dispersed mid-market customers in mind.
